Michael Brown, LPC (he/him)

As a Biracial Caribbean therapist, I am deeply committed to making therapy accessible to all communities, especially those that have been historically marginalized. Growing up with a rich cultural heritage, I have firsthand experience of how cultural and societal barriers can impact one’s mental health journey. This personal understanding fuels my passion for reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care, particularly in communities where seeking help can sometimes feel like a taboo. I believe that everyone, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to access compassionate and effective support.

I take pride in building a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, respect, and trust. My approach is collaborative—I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to understand your challenges, identify your strengths, and explore solutions. I value the individuality of each client and strive to create a space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to make the changes you desire. By providing a non-judgmental and supportive environment, I aim to help you navigate the complexities of life, while recognizing the role that culture, identity, and personal experience play in shaping your path.

One of my greatest joys is working with individuals and couples, who often find themselves at critical crossroads in their lives. In our work together, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can freely express yourself and explore the issues that are important to you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, or existential questions, I am here to help you find clarity and direction.

Life is full of uncertainties and challenges, but I believe that by confronting them head-on, we can grow and find meaning even in the most difficult of circumstances. Through our work together, I aim to help you not only cope with life’s challenges but also embrace them as opportunities for personal growth. Whether you are facing a specific issue or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to walk with you on your journey, providing the tools and support you need to thrive.
