Positive Regard Therapy (PRT) is a queer-owned and LGBTQ+ focused group therapy practice dedicated to helping young people, adults and those in relationships to cope with life’s toughest transitions and challenges. Based in Chicago, we partner with our clients through our therapy services to help them navigate issues such as break-ups, divorce, anxiety/stress, grief & loss, depression, trauma, relational discord, non-monogamy, identity exploration, and more.
PRT was founded in 2019 by Bert Fox, LCPC who wanted to provide a boutique therapy practice focused on working with LGBTQ+ clients to help them grow, change, and thrive. As a practice, we maintain a warm and inviting culture that embodies learning, growth, support, and unconditional positive regard for everyone on the team.

Full-time therapists will be scheduled for a 40 hour work week, with the expectation that they have 23 kept client sessions per week. The remaining hours will be dedicated to consultation, team meetings, trainings, and other non-client activities. PRT has a hybrid work model, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions.
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Therapist, ideally with prior experience in a private practice setting and experience working with queer clients.
