Dana Wierzbicki, LPC (she/they)

To me, the therapeutic relationship is what's at the heart of a meaningful experience in therapy-- a relationship where clients feel equally supported and respected whether they're talking about a proud achievement, a deep regret, or a fleeting moment. I think every person can relate to hiding parts of ourselves, our thoughts, and our lives out of a fear of being judged. When we can trust that someone will hear our words with care and understanding, that trust is what gives us the freedom to explore those things that we often hesitate to express.

As a therapist, I work to build that kind of trusting relationship. Instead of giving advice or trying to guide your actions based on my perspective, I want to understand how you see and experience your world to learn how to best support you as you confront life's challenges.

I have experience working with people across the age spectrum struggling with stressful or unexpected life changes, issues within their friendships and relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I'm especially passionate about working with fellow LGBTQ+ people who are navigating the complicated landscape of their own inner world and the world around us. If you think we might be a good fit, I encourage you to reach out. I look forward to meeting you.
