Creative Lives, Shared Struggles: A Support Group for Performers
A therapy group for musicians, actors, comedians, writers, game masters, dancers, drag queens & other performers!
The performing arts come with passion, purpose—and pressure. Whether you're on stage, backstage, or in between gigs, navigating life as a creative often means carrying stressors that others don’t see.
Group Details:
When: Thursdays, May 1 – June 19 (8 weeks)
Time: 6:30 – 7:45 PM
Where: In person at Positive Regard Therapy
5547 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60640
Cost: $5 per session
($35 for all 8 sessions if paid upfront)
Insurance not accepted
What to Expect:
This group offers a supportive and affirming space to explore the emotional and occupational stressors unique to life as a performer. Clinical staff are closely supported and supervised by licensed therapists on staff to ensure a safe, ethical and empowering group experience.

This group is designed for adults who identify as performers in any form—musicians, actors, dancers, comedians, circus artists, game masters, drag performers and more. Whether you're a working artist, a student, or in transition between projects, you’re welcome here.
