Life is a nuanced and multifaceted tapestry interwoven with both challenges and joys. Sometimes, those challenges can become overwhelming.

I believe an empathic and authentic alliance is the bedrock for therapeutic growth and meaningful change. You are the ultimate expert on your lived experiences, perspectives, and goals, and it is my job to meet you where you are with respect, honesty, and humility. As a therapist, I am deeply committed to a strengths-based, anti-racist, and identity affirming approach that holistically views your concerns to promote your overall wellness. This approach integrates humanistic principles with narrative, existentialist, and Adlerian practices in a therapeutic environment where you can feel seen, heard, and respected.

Currently, I am working to complete a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University. Prior to pursuing a career in counseling I worked as a K-8 music educator, a role in which I witnessed firsthand the dramatic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the mental health of my students and their families. These experiences, coupled with my insights from teaching, sparked my interest in mental health counseling and lit a fire in me to help others in their mental health journeys. Some of my clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, and identity development.

As a musician, I also have a particular professional and academic interest in supporting the mental health of musicians, especially concerning music performance anxiety, musician identity development, adjustments to performance-related injuries, and career development. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy biking, reading, singing, and playing the saxophone. By integrating my passions with my commitment to social justice, I aim to support clients in finding their own paths to wellness and fulfillment.
